RHOME -- Ruth Moran Eimer, 88, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, in Decatur.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers: Eddie Moran, James Moran, Bud Moran, Scott Moran, David Granstaff, Jr., Richard McDonald, Gary Bunch, Ben Earley, and Robby Kosman.
Ruth was born on August 7, 1920, the daughter of Miles and Iva (Williams) Newton in Reno, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Eimer; grandson, Mike Granstaff, granddaughter, Debbie Moran; sister, Hazel Bienvenu; and her brother, R.S. Newton.
Left behind to cherish her memory is: Sons, Thomas Moran of Newark, Jimmy Moran and wife Shirley of Newark, Wayne Moran and wife Shirley of Fort Worth, and Kenny Moran and wife Belinda of Rhome; daughters, Rubye Granstaff and husband David of Newark and Betty McDonald and husband Dwayne of Newark; brother, Jay Anderson of Newark; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
