Ruth Tackel

Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Paradise Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Rev. Charles Taylor will officiate. Pallbearers include Wayne Arthur, Stan Caruthers, Leslie Oates, J.P. Oates, Paul Kelly, Derek Read, Karl Black, and Bennie Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Angela Arthur, Callahan Storey, Ali Caruthers, Abbi Read, Molli Read, Gracie Oates, Clayton Taylor, Courtney Taylor, and Emma Zehnder.

Ruth was born on May 10, 1962 to James and Della (Kidd) Nall in Bunker Hill, Indiana. Ruth was united in marriage to Ronnie Tackel on May 11, 1996 in Paradise.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Danny Nall.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronnie Tackel of Paradise; her stepdaughter, De Ann Taylor and husband Danny of Decatur; her step grandchildren, Courtney and Clayton; her sister, Delilah Zehnder of Paradise; her mother in law, Faye Tackel of Paradise; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
