Sadie R. Burns

BRIDGEPORT -- Sadie R. Burns, 86, a homemaker, died Monday, Sept. 5, 2005, in Bridgeport. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Open Visitation: 12 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Burns; and brothers, J.A., O.C., and T.B. Allison. Sadie was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church. Survivors: nephew, Harold Allison; numerous other nephews, nieces and cousins; and a host of friends.
