PARADISE -- Sallie Lou Potts, 77, a devoted homemaker, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2010, in Bridgeport.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Decatur. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Bishop Joey Harrison to officiate.
Sallie was born on December 6, 1932 to Doyle and Connie (Donaldson) Dearman in El Dorado, Arkansas. She married Douglas Potts on July 23, 1949 in Fort Davis, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 61 years, Douglas Potts of Paradise; her daughter, Jimmie Potts of El Dorado, Arkansas; 3 sons, Douglas Guy Potts and wife Laura of Conifer, Colorado, Kenneth Potts and wife Janet of El Dorado, Arkansas, James E. Potts of El Dorado, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren; her sister, Katie Sue Lark of Paradise; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and a host of friends.
