Sammie Ann (Bass) Watson

Decatur ~ Sammie Ann Watson, 69, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Sammie was born October 14, 1952, to Wayne and Mary Ann (Collier) Bass. She graduated Amarillo College with a Degree in nursing and was an LVN in the medical industry for many years. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse and then a hospice nurse for the rest of her career.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Mary Ann Bass; and grandson, Billy Williams.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Stacy Williams, and husband Billy of Decatur; her son, Wade Watson of Decatur; a grandson, Ty Watson of Stillwater, Oklahoma; her granddaughters, Riley and Harper Williams; a brother, Kenneth Bass and wife Carol of McClain; numerous extended Family and a host of friends.

Graveside is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Texola, Oklahoma at Texola Cemetery.
