Boyd ~ Samuel Dow Fain, 67, went to be with our Lord Monday, June 3, 2019, in Decatur.

Samuel was born on October 27, 1951, to William Carwell and Mary Lee (Langford) Fain in Bowie. He retired from the family business at Fain Brothers Welding. Samuel was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister; his 5 brothers.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Samuel Dow Fain, Jr. of Paradise, and William Clifton Fain of Paradise; his daughters, Diana Grimsley of North Richland Hills, and Kathlena Vardas of Chico; his grandchildren, Jorja, Ryan, Reba, Shelby, Adam, Shaya, and Benisio; his numerous great-grandchildren; his sister, Sue Whitaker; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
