Survivors: Son, Samuel Jacob Murray of Houston; daughter, Journey Elaine Murray of Houston; mother of his children, Dawn Michelle Laquay of Houston; mother, Bobbie Edwards of Boyd; brother, Joe Murray Jr.of Boyd; sisters, Lisa Hood of Palestine, Patty Hart and husband, Richard of Boyd.
