Sandra Kay (Bennett) Low

Sandra Kay Low, 78, of Decatur went to be with our Lord Wednesday, July 31st, 2024.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at Rhome Church of Christ with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Kay was born December 5th, 1945 to Gordon and Mary Lee (Hudson) Bennett in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage October 11th, 1977 to Carl Stephen Low, Jr. in Ft. Worth, Texas. She was a graduate of Boyd High School and a member of Rhome Church of Christ. Kay was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Mary Lee Bennett.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 46 years, Carl Low, Jr. of Decatur; her children, Laurie Raney and husband Brian of Ft. Worth, Brent Pegues and wife Candi of Decatur, Matt Pegues and wife Joann of White Settlement, Amy Thomas of Decatur, Susan Ogletree and husband Jeremy of Haslet, and Carl Low III and wife Lauren of Aurora; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, James Bennett, Jr. and wife Ruth; a sister, Ann Troxell and husband Robert; extended family and a host of friends.
