Boyd ~ Sandy Lee Sanders, 71, a retired painter and past employee of Miller Brewery went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Boyd.
Graveside service is 1 p.m. Friday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur with Rev. Don Shotwell officiating.
Sandy was born August 9, 1940 to Hugh and Margaret (Barrington) Sanders in Ft. Worth, Texas. He married Sarah Fancy South on March 1, 1958 in Ft. Worth.
Sandy is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sarah (South) Sanders.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Leigh Ann King and husband Jimmy of Boyd, Leslie DeRose and husband Frank of Hopewell, Pennsylvania; his sons, Lance Sanders and wife Nancy of River Oaks and Ray Sanders of Boyd; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his brothers, Henry Sanders of Haltom City and Dennis Sanders of Abilene; his sister, Doris Bench of Aledo; other family members and a host of friends.
