Sara was born on May 22, 1947 to Octavio and Matide (Perdomo) Ufret in Sangerman, Puerto, Rico. She was united in marriage to Harry Melear Jr. on November 30, 1982 in Fort Worth. Sara was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Harry Melear Jr.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Roberto Arcelay and wife America of Lewisville and Javier Arcelay of Keller; her stepdaughter, Sheree Barber and husband Gary of San Antonio; her grandson, Jaiden Arcelay of Keller; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Barber and wife Melanie of Mansfield, David Barber and wife Stephanie of San Antonio, and Chris Barber of San Antonio; her sister, Carmen Davis and husband Larry of Euless; her nephew, Neely Davis of San Marcos; other family members and a host of friends.
