Corinth ~ Sarah Gilliland Rich, 67, a loving wife and mother went to be with our Lord Monday, June 7, 2010 in Denton.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport Interment: Paradise Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
The Reverend Al Camp to officiate. Pallbearers: Ward Cannon, Tyler Cannon, Mason Cannon, Randy Hartman, John Cornwell and Rob Hubbard.
Sarah was born December 1, 1942 to Paul and Vaudean (Thomas) Gilliland in Paradise, Texas. She married D. Edward Rich June 2, 1961 in Paradise. She was a member of the Denton Bible Church. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Bertie Gilliland Murphy and Jerry Gilliland Foreman.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, D. Edward Rich of Corinth; 3 daughters, Lori Hartman and husband Randy of Carrollton, Tracy Cornwell and husband John of Dallas, Melisa Cannon and husband Ward of Corinth; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Mason; 2 brothers, Joe Gilliland of Paradise, Gaylord Gilliland of Decatur; her sister, Paula Thornhill of Coppell; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
