Seabird Ernest Tucker, 86, of Paradise, a truck driver, went to be with our Lord Thursday, August 18, 2011 at his home.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Bro. Sam Starr will officiate.
Seabird was born on June 4, 1925 to William and Blanche (Petty) Tucker in Sidney, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Bill Tucker.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Janice Sanders and husband Earl of Paradise; his son, Ernest Dale Tucker of Decatur; 5 grandchildren, Joe Tucker and wife Misty; Cole Tucker and wife Rhonda, David Tucker and wife Angela, Blake Tucker and wife Tracie, and Michael Tucker and wife Amy; 10 great grandchildren; the mother of his children, Pauline Williams; other relatives and a host of friends.
