Decatur: Sergio H. Rodriguez, 66, went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 12, 2010 in Decatur.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 17 at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Juan Rodas officiating. Interment will follow the service in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sergio was born March 3, 1944 in Allende Coahulia Mexico. The retired sandblaster was married to the former Elizabeth Ramirez. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife; children, Elizabeth Fernandez and husband, Juan of Fort Worth, Orlando Rodriguez and Erica Rodriguez of Decatur, Noe Rodriguez and wife, Edith of Fort Worth and Iran Rodriguez and wife Maricela, Alejandro Rodriguez and wife Lorenda and Elsa Rodriguez of Decatur; brothers and sisters, Jacobo and Jesus Rodriguez, Juanita Vega and Rosa Vazquez; and 17 grandchildren.
Sergio is preceded in death by a son, Sergio A. Rodriguez.
