Seth Hunter Keener

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Open Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. and family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Dr. Craig Erb will officiate. Pallbearers include Brant Waldrop, Ty Stack, Tyler Raby, Jacob Mogus, Corey Billings, Brady Byrd, Isaiah Eilander, Michael Baisley, Matt Chaney, Cody McLaughlin, and Jacob Free.

Seth was born on January 3, 1997 to Shannon Keener and Candi Lovato Keener in Decatur, Texas. Seth was a beloved son, grandson, and a good friend to many. He was a good employee, more like family, a fast learner and a hard worker. Seth was employed with McLaughlin Stone and Masonry in Decatur.

Seth graduated from Bridgeport High School with the Class of 2015. Most friends will remember Seth from high school as #5 on the Bridgeport Bulls Football Team where he always made quite the impression on and off the field. Seth loved playing football and enjoyed sports of any kind. He loved being outdoors, either hunting or boating on the lake the most. If there was any kind of adventure that presented itself Seth was your guy. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a respectful, courteous and bright young man with a huge heart and contagious smile that would light up a room.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his father, Shannon Keener and wife Rebecca of Euless , his mother Candi Stack and husband Keith of Eagle Mountain Lake; his brothers, Luke Keener and Tyler Stack; his sister, Kamryn Stack; his grandparents, Bruce and Susan Messick of Paradise and Dan and Shirley Stack of Bridgeport; his numerous aunts and uncles and extended family, and a host of good friends.
