Shannon Paul "N5Kou" Mcgauley

Decatur ~ Shannon Paul “N5KOU” McGauley, 58, went to be with our Lord Saturday, January 22, 2022.

Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Rev. Misty Drake will officiate. Pallbearers include Terry Eakman, Scott Warner, Eric Warner, Kevin Drake, Josh Drake, Eli Nobles, Ryan Stokes, and Michael Coker.

Shannon was born December 19, 1963 to Terrence Andrew and Irene Carol (Davis) in Crosby, North Dakota. He was united in marriage Febrauary 21, 2004 to Pamela Gail Drake in Rhome, Texas. Shannon was a Hamm Radio Operator “N5KOU”. He was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene McGauley; a brother, and 2 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years, Pamela McGauley of Decatur; his 2 daughters, Samantha Nielsen of Decatur, and Victoria Eakman and husband Terry of Decatur; his 2 sons, Stefin McGauley of Gainesville, and Ryan McGauley of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Stetson, Peyton, and Kaydence Bradberry; his father, Andy McGauley of Ft. Worth; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
