Sharon Ann (Metcalf) Howard

Forestburg ~ Sharon Ann Howard, 74, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in North Richland Hills, Texas.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday , June 15, 2021 at Forestburg Baptist Church with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Larry Lau will officiate. Pallbearers include Kirk Robinson, Heath Robinson, Clayton Howard, Jake Barton, Dyllon St.Romain, and Brad Bakker.

Sharon was born January 7, 1947 to Ralph and May (Gunter) Metcalf in Big Spring, Texas. She was united in marriage July 26, 1968 to Paul Warren Howard in Ft. Worth, Texas. Sharon was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother,  sister, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Warren Howard, and her daughter, Nicole Irvin.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Russell Howard and wife Rachel of Ft. Worth; 6 grandchildren, Kayla Barton and husband Jake of Grapevine, Clayton Howard of Ft. Worth, Carly Howard of Burleson, Michael Ranger and wife Samantha, Arian Maki and husband Kevin, and Matthew Ranger; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Linda Allen of Hurst, Carolyn Robinson and husband Doug of Haltom City, and Kathy Grant and husband Tim of Hurst; nieces, nephews; extended family members and a host of friends.
