Weatherford ~ Sharon Kay Taylor, 68, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, December 23, 2017 in Weatherford.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, 2017 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with private and family only burial in Willow Point Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service Friday, December 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
Dr. Charles Wetherbee will officiate.
Sharon was born on October 24, 1949 to Audie and Angie Ilene (Thompson) Allen in Bridgeport, Texas. She was united in marriage to Mike Ray Taylor on May 22, 1968 in Gibtown, Texas. Sharon was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Audie Allen.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Mike Taylor of Weatherford; sons, Michael Bryant Taylor, Matthew Paul Taylor and wife Mary Ruth all of Weatherford; grandchildren, Lindsay Taylor and Kaylie Taylor; sisters, twin sister, Karon Gay May and husband Jim of Arkansas and Ila Alcorn and husband Don of Gibtown; sister in law Judy Ard and late husband Arlin of Weatherford; mother Ilene Allen of Perrin.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Scottish Rite or St. Jude’s.
