Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sand Hill. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Gerre Joiner will officiate.
Sharyn was born on September 2, 1945 to Charles and Berla (Webber) Dempsey in Saint. Paul, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to Billie Farley on August 17, 1963 in Fremont, California. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 54 years, Billie Farley of Decatur; her son, Troy Farley of Decatur; her daughter in law, Latricia Halferty of Sulphar Springs; her daughter, Dawn Gibbs and husband Ernie of Midland; her granddaughter, Kassandra Elliott of Abilene; her sister, Shelby Crawford of Midland; her sister in law, Debbie Massey of Robert Lee, Texas; her brother in law, James Farley of Decatur; serveral nieces, nephews; and a host of friends.
