CHICO -- Shirley Ruth Baker, 62, a secretary, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005 in San Antonio. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at Morris Memorial United Methodist Church of Chico. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Shirley was a lifetime resident of Wise County and a member of the Morris Memorial United Methodist Church where she was very active in the church choir. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Gibbens, brother, Larry Gibbens, and grandson, Michael Baker. Survivors: Daughters, Carol Vogeler and husband, Wayne of Topeka, KS, Cheryl Martini and husband, Stephen of Allen, Beverly Williams and husband, James of Chico and Jennifer Baker of Chico; mother, Juanita Gibbens of Chico; grandchildren, Collin, Vincent, Jade, Jamey, Sabian, Jeremy, Kaylea, Alyxis, Eli, Heather, Justin, and Beth and 4 great-grandchildren; brother, David Gibbons; and sister, Barbara Stone.
