Newark~ Shirley Ann Mason, 70, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 30, 2019, in Decatur.
Funeral is 2 PM Wednesday June, 5, at Cornerstone Church in Newark with burial following in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Boyd.
Rev. Danny Slimp will officiate. Pallbearers include Gene Stephens, Eddie Pell, Jamie Pell, Brian Maziasz, Jack Hatcher, Johnathan Pilkington, Curtis Langley, and Charles Langley.
Shirley was born on March 4, 1949, to Delbert Lee and Marcell (Cargill) Pell in Haskell, Texas. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Warren Mason on January 30, 1965 in Pampa. Shirley a member of Jesus Saves Tabernacle Church was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Kenneth Mason of Newark; her sons, Tracy Mason of Newark, and Bryan Mason and wife Cassie of Paradise; her daughter, Joyce Ann Mason and Brian Maziasz of North Richland Hills; her grandchildren, Ashley Mason, Kenneth Murray, Johnathan Pilkington, Deidra Langley, and Jason Pilkington; her 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
