Decatur ~ Shirley Alice Zedaker, 85, a retired LVN, went to be with our Lord Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Decatur.
Graveside is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Fairview Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Phillip Weitner will officiate.
Shirley was born on August 29, 1931 to Arnold and Ina (Crowmer) Harthen in Detroit, Michigan. She was a retired LVN. Shirley worked at Wise County Heritage Museum for 15 years. She was member in the Decatur Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Susan Davis of New Fairview, Jane Skaggs and husband Gary of Decatur; her granddaughter, Kate Newby of Haslet; her grandson, Grant Davis of New Fairview; her granddaughter, Lesley Skaggs of Decatur; her granddaughter, Lisa Christensen and husband Henning III of San Antonio; her granddaughter, Kitty Skaggs of Dallas; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
