Boyd ~ Stella Motley, 87, a retired secretary, went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, February 17, 2013 in Decatur.
A memorial service is 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Church of Christ, 379 Cemetery Road, Boyd, Texas.
Stella was born in 1925 to William and Mable (Horton) Byrd in Bend, Texas. She was married to Ervie Motley until his death in September 1994. Stella was also preceded by her sisters, Mavis, Eva Nell, and Louise.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jerry Motley, Sharon Eaves, and Carolyn Smith; her grandchildren, Ayla Eaves, Kristin Motley, Levi Smith, and Matthew Motley; her brother, Bucky Byrd; other family members and a host of friends.
