Rhome ~ Stephen "Dom" James Janiak, 27, oil and gas worker, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Rhome.
Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Aurora Cemetery, Aurora.
Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.
Rev Juanita Ransom Bullard will officiate. Pallbearers include Wesley Green, Chris Davis, Zack Broome, Anton Janiak, James Janiak and Billy Ray.
Stephen was born on August 29, 1988 to James and Susan (Dwyer) Janiak in Tolland, Connecticut. He was united in marriage to Jessica McGill on November 24, 2014 in Decatur. Stephen served his country in the U. S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan Janiak.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Jessica Janiak of Rhome; his sons, Dakota Janiak of Rhome, and Brodie Janiak of Briar; his daughter, Sarah Janiak of Fort Worth; his father, James and wife Johnna Janiak of Tolland, Connecticut; his sister, Brianna Janiak of Stafford Springs, Connecticut; his grandparents, Anton and Constance Janiak of Tolland, Connecticut; many other family members and a host of friends.
