Rhome ~ Steve Darwin Parks, Jr., 43, went to be with our Lord on Monday, December 27, 2021 in Decatur, Texas.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur, Texas. The Family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Steve was born October 16, 1978 to Steve Darwin and Clara V. (Whaley) Parks, in Dallas, Texas. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Steve loved antiques and going to swap meets, as well as auctions and flea markets. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Ashley Pytel and husband Brennan of Lake Worth; his son, Shawn Alex Parks; his parents, Steve and Penny Parks of Rhome; his grandchildren, MaeLynn, TaeLynn, BrenLynn, and OakLynn; his sisters, Marika Willis and husband Jimmy of Childress, and Krissi Parks and husband Kito Bonner of Humble; his nieces, Kibriana Bonner, Kasia Bonner, and Katia Bonner; his nephews, Kai Bonner, Justin R. Willis and wife Nicole, Justin N. Willis and wife Misty, Jason Willis and wife Candice, and Jordan Willis and fiancé Lindsey; numerous great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends.
