Decatur ~ Steve Spiel, 83, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Decatur.
Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Decatur Community Church.
Rev. John Redfern and Rev. Chris Wann will officiate.
Steve was born February 1, 1933 to John and Fanny (Felica) Spiel in West Allis, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Joan Guell on June 13, 1959 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Steve was a member of the Decatur Community Church. He served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Joan Spiel of Decatur; his daughter, Mary Jo Konz and husband Dan Sr. of Decatur; his son, Steven Spiel and wife Kimberly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Dan Michael Konz of Decatur, Danae Read and husband Dickie of Bridgeport, Tammie Samborski and husband Martin of Muskego,Wisconsin, Nicole Weins and husband Jay of North Carolina; his great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Avery, Mia and Dillon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
