DECATUR - Stuart Ray Brooks, 24, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, September 1, 2012, in Bonham, Texas.

Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Baptist Church with burial in Lone Star Cemetery. Brothers Louis Horton and Zach Burns to officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include David Murphree, Blaine Smith, Kasen Gentry, Ethan Alexander, Tyler Armitage, and William Cryer. Honorary Pallbearers: Lesley Head, David Head, Adam Vermillion, Andrew Brooks, and Justin Brooks.

Stuart, also known as "Pandaman" and "Uno", was born on the Fourth of July in 1988 to Jerry and Barbara (Crunk) Brooks in Decatur, Texas. He graduated from Decatur High School in 2006 and worked as an installer of storm shelters. He enjoyed playing paintball on a professional level, which is where he got his nickname "Pandaman" because of his panda beanie he wore in all of the tournaments along with his bright pink and green outfits.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents; 1 sister, Melissa Stastny and husband Craig of Decatur; 2 brothers, William Brooks and wife Jessica of Arthur City, and Joshua Brooks and wife Jennifer of Decatur; grandmother, Annie Mae Brooks of Decatur; 9 nieces and nephews, Corbin and Cooper Stastny, Dylon, Elayna, Micah, Mackenzie, Kelton, Analee, and Jaxen Brooks; and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Leita Alene Crunk and his grandfather, Marshall Edward Brooks.
