Sue Haworth

Chico~ Sue Haworth, 81, went to be with our Lord on Thursday June 17, 2021 in Alvord.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 at The First Baptist Church in Chico with burial in Chico Cemetery to follow. Family will receive friends 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Phillip Weitner will officiate.

Pallbearers are to include John Lantz, Larry Mader, Brad Thompson, Andy Thompson, Joey Smith, and Larry Flowers. Honorary Pallbearer will be Nobie Tucker.

Sue was born on September 5, 1939 to John and Susie (Whatley) Daulton in Wardville, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who cherished her time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sue was united in marriage to Joe Haworth on May 25, 1957 in Wardville. They were together for 60 years until his passing in August of 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Haworth; her son, Joe Lynn Haworth; her daughter, Charlett Peck; her brothers, Albert and Johnny Daulton; her sisters, Opal Thompson, Ruth Moreland, Aunita Daulton and Martha Cunningham.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Tommy Haworth and wife Melissa of Alvord; her daughter, Debbie Lantz of Findlay, Ohio; her grandchildren, William Peck, Connie Peck, Bethanie Haworth, Samantha Haworth, and John Lantz; her great-grandchildren, Blaine, Addison, Kolton, and Lilly; numerous extended family members and a host of good friends.
