Susan Kay Cone

Funeral Mass is 12 p.m. Wednesday, August 17th at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur with Father Sojan George officiating. Rosary is 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Catholic Church.

Susan was born February 11, 1949 in San Antonio, Texas to Wendell and Nancy (Fallberg) Abbott. She married Thomas King Cone III on December 10, 1976 in Dallas, Texas.

Susan was a loving wife, a nurturing mother, and a genuinely selfless friend to many. She was a devout believer in God and shall be a continual inspiration for all to us.

Survived by husband of 34 years, Tom Cone of Decatur; son, King Cone and fiance, Andrea of Houston; mother, Nancy Fallberg of Dallas; two sisters, Linda Tilford of Plano and Cindy Austin of Mesquite.
