Azle ~ Susan Kay Huddleston, 70, a retired electric aircraft assembler, went to be with our Lord Saturday, June 30, 2012 in Azle.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 3rd at The Church At Azle. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
Pastor Randy Rosamond will officiate.
Pallbearers include Judge Huddleston, Rodger G. Cathey, Rodger C. Cathey, Jason Johnson, Michael Hall, and Kevin Chandler. Honorary pallbearers are Doyle Huddleston and Norman Huddleston.
Susan was born on June 19, 1942 to Basil and Iris (Strauss) Shepherd in Three Oaks, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Norman Huddleston on March 2, 1963 in Lydick, Indiana. Susan was a member of The Church At Azle, Red Hatters, and Honor of the Order of the Yellow Dogs.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Norman Huddleston of Azle; her sons, Doyle Huddleston and wife Amye of Azle and Norman Huddleston and wife Kristine of Peaster; her daughter, Robin Cathey and husband Rodger of Boyd; 9 grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Rodger, Jamie, Samantha, Deborah, Paige, Judge, and Sydney; 5 great grandchildren, Hunter, Gavin, Makayla, Lawson, and Blaze; her parents, Iris and Basil Shepherd of Azle; her brother, Bucky and wife Jeanette of South Bend, Indiana; her sisters, Judy Bently of South Carolina, Sharon Walbert and husband Raymond of Granger, Indiana, Debborah Mablem of Kendellville, Indiana, and Cheryl Tabler and husband Tim of Greensboro, Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews; and a host of friends.
