Susan was born on June 3, 1947, to LeRoy and Cora (Cessna) Christensen in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. She was united in marriage to Jeffery Robin Wilk on December 7, 2006 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Susan a retired owner of a cleaning service was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 12 years, Jeff Wilk of Rhome; her daughter, Sherry Nolan; her sons, Justin V. Nolan, and Sean Nolan; her 9 grandchildren; her brother, Dick Christensen; her sisters, Donna Miller, and Louise Matthews; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
