Sybil Lucille (Watkins) Stevens

Sybil Lucille Watkins Stevens passed from this earth in Decatur, Texas on March 7, 2024 at the age of 91 years.

Lucille was born on November 7, 1932 in Tipton, Oklahoma to Lucas and Ione Watkins along with her twin sister, Louise.

The family moved to Texas in 1936 and settled near Bowie. Lucille attended Pleasant Ridge school through the eighth grade and graduated from Bowie High School in 1950.

She is survived by her son, Dwayne Martin of Virginia and one sister, Bettie Watkins Wylie of Arlington, Tx and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy L. Stevens, her daughter, Beverly Ann Tims and an infant grandson, Timothy Lee Tims, her parents, Lucas and Ione Watkins, sisters Dollie Chester of Decatur, Agnes Moore of Vashti and her twin sister Louise Lee of Decatur.
