BOYD -- Sylvia Brandt, 67, of Boyd, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, in Fort Worth.
Service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church with burial in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Chapel. Rev. Jim Edwards will officiate.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church building fund.
Sylvia was born on September 23, 1940 in Fort Worth to Floyd and Naomi (Cagle) Johnson. She married W.H. "Hugo" Brandt on May 7, 1956 in Weatherford.
She was preceded by her father, Floyd Johnson; and a brother, Michael Johnson.
Survivors: Those left to cherish her memories are husband of 51 years, Hugo Brandt of Boyd; son, Phillip Brandt and wife, Darlene of Boyd; grandsons, Jason and wife, Kelly of Boyd, and Patrick Brandt of Boyd; great-granddaughter, Lauren Brandt; mother, Naomi Johnson of Boyd; and sister, Sharon Rowbottom and husband, Michael of Fort Worth..
