Sunset: Tammy Janise Durand, 48, of Sunset, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Grapevine.
Funeral service is 11 a.m. Friday at Victory Family Church with Reverend Alan Bates officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Rick Mosley, Richard Robinson, Al Durand and Kyle McCroskey.
Tammy was born January 6, 1963 in Oxnard, California to J. E. and Waunie Ezell (Pearson) Loper. She married Michael Ernest Durand on March 21, 1998 in Cozumel, Mexico. Tammy was a stock broker for Ameritrade in Fort Worth. She was a certified dive master and was a member of Victory Family Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Michael Durand of Sunset; two daughters, Jennifer Durand of McKinney, Micah Durand of Sunset; two sons, Michael Durand of Allen, Taylor Durand of Sunsten; brother, Randy Loper of Winnsboro; sisters, Darlene Laner of Nebraska, Susan Mize of Hatfield, Arkansas, Lynda Taylor of Locksburg, Arkansas, and Debbie Ediaston of DeQueen, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, Chelsea and Grant.

So sorry to hear about Tammy. I went to school with her in Lockesburg. Please remember that there is true power in prayer. My prayers are with the entire family.
