Terry Dean Smith

Decatur~ Terry Dean Smith, 56, a service manager, went to be with our Lord, May 1, 2019 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Pallbearers will be Keith Branch, Victor Fernandez, Clint Parker, Tommy Jackson, Warren Underwood, Raymond Wood. Honorary pallbearers are Paula Rutledge, Brandy Talamantes, Cutter Holloway and Vickie Preston.

Terry was born January 28,1963 to R.L. and Betty Sue (Ray) Smith  in Mineral Wells. He was united in marriage to Joanna (Fretwell) Smith on October 12, 2018 in Decatur. He proudly served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, Carl Ray Dement and his niece, Natasha Smith

Those left behind to cherish his memory are is his wife, Joanna Smith of Bridgeport; his son, Ty Smith and wife Lindsey of Bridgeport; his stepsons, Mason, Seth, and Isaac King of Decatur; his grandchild, Tygan Smith; his brother, Rick Smith and wife Cindy of Bridgeport; his mother, Betty Sue Smith Dement of Bridgeport; his niece Niki Smith of Fort Worth; his friend, Tommy Jackson of Boyd; other relatives and a host of friends.
