Thelma Cartmel

Bowie ~ Thelma Cartmel, 92, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 26, 2025 in Denton.

Thelma was born on July 27, 1932 to Delbert and Viola (Beck) Pryor in Indianola, Oklahoma. She was a compassionate self-employed caregiver who devoted her time to supporting others with genuine love and care. Thelma was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to many that will miss her dearly. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert and Viola Pryor; and her daughter, Joan Miller.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Julia Jester of Arkansas, Joslon Johnson of Nocona, and Clifton Mack Cartmel, Jr. of Waco; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
