Thelma Ann Fowler

Springtown ~ Thelma Ann Fowler, 70, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 26, 2021 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Bourland, Gary Bourland, Matthew Bourland, Johnathon Bourland, Shawn Crites, and Steven Crites. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bryson, Hunter, and Mason Jennings.

Thelma was born January 15, 1951 to Amos Vern Emery and Dorothy (Mattison) Emery-Hopkins in Roseburg, Oregon. She was united in marriage to Bobby Don Fowler on December 25, 1995 in Fort Worth. Thelma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Lee Roy Hopkins.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 25 years, Bobby Don Fowler of Springtown; 2 daughters, Shonda Crites of Oklahoma, and Stephanie Crites of Weatherford; son, Michael Crites and wife Tricia of Henderson; 2 more daughters, Elizabeth Jennings and husband Corbett of Azle, and Cindy Tackett of Alvord; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Emery; 3 sisters, Janet Rhodd, Maxine Gilbreath, and Kathleen Adkins; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
