Decatur: Thelma Mae Wilson, 84, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10 a.m. Friday, June 4th at Cottondale Cemetery with Reverend David Wilson officiating. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Thelma was born October 1, 1925 in Wise County to David Daniel and Janie Campbell Read. She is preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Linda Sue Peel and son, Danny Joe Peel.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kay Vaughan and husband, Rick of Tennessee; numerous grandchildren and a host of friends.
