Fort Worth: Thomas Elby Clark, 66, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 in Fort Worth.

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wesley Huggins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Jonestown Cemetery in Alvord, Texas. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Thomas was born February 5, 1943 in Childress, Texas to Leon William and Gladys (Stafford) Clark. He married Linda Upchurch on March 23, 1991 in Boyd, Texas. Thomas was a pastor of the House of Mercy Holiness Church in Fort Worth and a part time roofer.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 18 years, Linda Clark of Fort Worth; daughter, Elizabeth Renea Spencer of Godley; six sons, Thomas E. Clark, Jr. and wife, Stephanie of Godley, Texas, Anthony T. Clark and wife, Joy of Azle, Quinton L. Clark of Godley, Cliff Fuentes and wife, Pamela of Runaway Bay, Andrew Fuentes of San Antonio, Thomas Green and Caylon Deon Green; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother, A.J. Clark and wife, Kathleen of Decatur; sister, Lorene Bond of Leon, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, son, Jasper Lynn Green, 1 brother and 1 sister.
