Thomas Frederick Durrett

Thomas Frederick Durrett, Sr.,72, of Springtown went to be with his Lord Friday, January 3rd, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 11th at Rhome Church of Christ with burial at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Thomas was born March 28th, 1952 to John Marcus Durrett and Joann Steele in Longview, Texas. He was united in marriage September 24th, 1971 to Glenna Jane Pepper in Rhome, Texas. Thomas graduated Kilgore High School and was a retired machinist for Corning Cable Systems. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many who will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joann Durrett.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janie Durrett of Springtown; his son, Thomas Frederick Durrett, Jr. and wife Shawnn of Weatherford; his daughter Stephanie Copeland and husband Joseph of Boyd; 6 grandchildren, Gavin, Gabrielle, Shelby, Blake, Hayden, and Kyleigh; 2 great-grandchildren, Willow and Grace; extended family members and a host of friends.
