Runaway Bay~ Thomas Dean Freeman, 64, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 in Runaway Bay.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport followed by burial in Chico Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Open Visitation will be held 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. Pallbearers are to include Cliff Fuentes, Willie Garrett, J.D. Coffman, Jeff Emerson, Doug Gossett, and Kim Miller.

Thomas was born on March 21, 1957 to Bill and Delores (Kelley) Freeman in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was Operations Manager for KO Construction. Thomas was united in marriage to Melissa Ashburn on October 15, 1988 in Chico, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Billie Jones.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 32 years. Melissa Freeman of Runaway Bay; his son, John Freeman of Wichita Falls; his sister, Kay St. John and husband Troy of Chico; his sister-in-law, Gay Rich and husband Marty of Troy, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
