Decatur: Thomas Franklin Hall, 73, a retired railroad engineer, went to be with our Lord Friday, January 7, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service was held at 1 p.m. Monday at Fairview Cemetery with Reverend Windell Splawn officiating.
Tom was born October 8, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri to George Franklin and Nellie Ruth (Smith) Hall. He retired from Union Pacific Railway (formerly Missouri Pacific Railway) after over 40 years of service.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Patsy Hall of Decatur; son, Thomas Franklin Hall, Jr. of Decatur; four daughters, Pamela Sue Beck of Jacksonville, Florida, Kimberly Ann Coy of Coto de Caza, California, Misty Metzler of Flower Mound, Cristy Howlett of Norfolk, Viriginia; brother, Jerry Hall of Omaha, Nebraska, sister, Thersa Pinnell of Midlothian, and 14 grandchildren.
