Thomas Jenkins

Bridgeport ~ Thomas Jenkins, 77, a retired truck driver, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2019 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pastor Phillip Weitner will officiate.

Thomas was born on September 14, 1942 to Thomas Leroy and Carrie (Jacob) Jenkins in Mount Morris, Michigan. He was united in marriage to Judy Burns on July 28, 1962 in Vassar, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Judy Burns; and his grandson, Andrew Jackson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Tamura Jackson and husband Roger of Post, Suzann Casey and husband Billy Jack of Benbrook, Teresa Lynch of Midland, and Stacy Ryburn and husband Stephen of Hobbs, New Mexico; his son, Daniel Jenkins and Marcie of Rhome; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; his brother, Charles Jenkins; his sister, Marian Lynch; extended family and a host of friends.
