Thomas Lee Van Fleet

Rhome ~ Thomas Lee Van Fleet, 79, went to be with our Lord Friday, October 28, 2022.

Mass of Christian burial is 11:30 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur.

Father Anto Carloose will officiate.

Thomas was born September 26, 1943 to Edgar L. and Mary Louise Van Fleet. He was united in marriage November 12, 1994 to Janet Carlyn Davis in Ft. Worth, Texas. Thomas was a retired Sales manager after many years in the Telecommunication Industry and proudly served our country in the United States Army. He was a beloved husband, father, step-father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many who will dearly miss him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Louise Van Fleet.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janet Van Fleet of Rhome; his daughter, Michelle Lokensgard and husband Mike of Haslet; his son, Charles Van Fleet and wife Wendy of Niwot, Colorado; step-daughter, Sheryl Williams of St. Louis, Missouri; step-sons, Paul Williams of Springfield, Missouri, James Williams and  Katherine of Rolla, Missouri, and Michael Williams and Angalyn Theno of Brandenburg, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren, Roman, Morgan, Jack, Julian, Laurel, Ellen, and Clara; 1 great-grandchild, Kasidi; and a host of friends.
