Timothy Wayne Taylor

Boyd ~ Timothy Wayne Taylor, 68, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Boyd.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Boyd Cemetery.  Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.

Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.  Pallbearers include Kris Taylor, Richard Simmons, David Smith, Drake Kniffin, Mark Romine, and Greg Crossen.  Honorary pallbearers include Don Patterson and Rick Wood.

Timothy was born April 21, 1949 to Oscar and Martine (Mize) Taylor in Justin.  He was united in marriage on December 13, 1969 to Judy Goodger in Boyd.  Timothy proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, J.T. Stokes; and his sister, Virginia Vaughn.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Judy K. Taylor of Boyd; his daughter, Shelley Simmons and husband Richard of Altus, Oklahoma; his son, Kris Taylor and wife Rachale of Boyd; his grandchildren, Sydney and Anna Simmons, Charley Taylor, and Joey, Jordan, and Ryder McConnell; his great grandchildren, Davis, Coy, and Walter; his brother, Don Taylor and wife Patricia of Boyd; his sister, Karen Tedrow and husband Arnold of Aurora; his brother Ronnie Stokes and wife Liz of Keller; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
