Todd Anthony James

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bill Hughes officiating. Interment will follow the service in Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Michael Hagen, Matt Lance, Hank Henry, Taylor Brooks, Chris Miller and Dennis Brown.

Todd was born on August 13, 1967 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jerry Brittain and Linda (Shaw) James. He was a 1986 graduate of Mansfield High School and worked as a property manager in Arlington.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Linda Miller and husband Raleigh of Decatur; daughter, Allison James; son, Blake James both of Arlington; stepmother, Betsy James of Southlake; stepsisters, Sarah and Elizabeth Lewis; stepbrothers, Michael Miller of Silver Spring, Maryland, Chris Miller of Dallas and aunt, Martha Kirby of Fort Worth.

Todd is preceded in death by his father, Jerry James.

I will most likely not be there for the service as I live far. I want to express to Todd's family my most sincere regrets to this loss. Todd was a wonderful person. He was humorous, loving and kind. He will be missed greatly. Our hearts go out to you Todd James ( he JUST mentioned how he thought it was funny alot of people never called him "Todd" It was always "TODD JAMES". He was well liked and very popular in school and on behalf of Mansfield High I am sure everyone who couldn't be there wishes they were! We love you always "TODD".
