Tommy Lee Cunnius

Decatur ~ Tommy Lee Cunnius, 77, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 24, 2020.

Memorial Graveside Service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Tommy was born January 8, 1943 to George Lee and Willie Maxine (Longmire) Cunnius in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage August 2, 1975 to Kathy Ann Hamilton in Decatur, Texas. Tommy was retired in 2007 after 39 years of being a lineman for TP&L, then TU, and Oncor, also a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. He proudly served our country in the National Guard for over 4 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Maxine Cunnius; his wife Kathy Ann Cunnius; and his son; Brandon Kelton.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Ryan Cunnius and wife Amy of Decatur, and Brent Kelton and wife Ashley of Magnolia; 7 grandchildren, Riley, Barrett, McCray, Casen, Ben, Gracie, and Peyton; his brother, Jimmy Cunnius and wife Lynn of Decatur; his sister, Beth Rawle and husband Russell of Decatur; his aunt, Glenda Longmire of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and a host of friends.
