Tommy Norris

Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 6th at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends before the service at the cemetery.

Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.

Tommy was born on June 27, 1931 to William and Ruby Norris in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U.S. Army and retired from the military after serving 21 years. Tommy also retired from Miller Insurance in Fort Worth. He was united in marriage to Jean Bays on November 17, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were married 59 years until her death on February 2, 2011. Tommy was a member of the American Legions.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean Norris; his brothers, William and Jimmy Norris; and his sister, Pat Younger.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Diane Woolum and husband Tony of Benbrook, Kay Kiker and husband Jerry of Fort Worth; 4 grandchildren, Thom and wife Moe, Kristie, Mike, and Sara; 3 great grandchildren, Jade, Keaton, and Brody; other family members and a host of friends.

To Diane and Kaye

Wanted to tell you both how sorry I am for you. Your folks was such a sweet pair. Uncle Tommy took me places and bought me candy and we went to the amusement park together and rode rides. He would play ball with me and just tease and talk to me. And then Aunt Jean would give me such special hugs. They are so truly missed but has left me with so many loving memories. Take care. You are loved.
