Paradise ~ Tommy Lee Sims, 75, a grocery store owner, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in Fort Worth.
Graveside service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Cottondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Christy Drechsel will officiate. Pallbearers include Robert Johnson, Chad Johnson, Chase Johnson, Chance Johnson, Mike Richey, and Rickey Read.
Tommy was born in Waurika, Oklahoma on December 11, 1941 to Mable Phillips. He was united in marriage to Donna Margaret Admire on April 22, 1961 in Weatherford, Texas. Tommy owned Foodway.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Norine and Royce Holt; his sister, Loyce Lowery; and his son, Tommy Glen Sims.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Donna Sims of Paradise; his daughter, Dona Johnson and husband Robert of Paradise; his son, Cory Sims of Paradise; his grandchildren, Chad Johnson, Chase Johnson and wife Ashley, Chance Johnson; his great-grandchildren, Will Johnson and Brooks Carter Johnson; his sisters, Kay Roberts of Bridgeport, Reba Bradley and husband Wayne of Bridgeport; his brother, Bob Holt and wife Sharon of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
