Rhome ~ Tony Rhett Dickey, 52, went to be with our Lord Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Granbury, Texas.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Aurora cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Honorary pallbearers include, Clayt Smith, Billy Hall, Blake Stockard, Dennis Sanders, Keith Cantrell, J.J. Nelms, Brayden Byrne, Joey Dickey, and Tony Ray Dickey.

Tony was born July 25, 1967 to Tony Mac and Dorris (Utley) Dickey in Fort Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage to Karrie J. Nelms on October 13, 1990 in Rhome, Texas. Tony was a pipefitter and 26-year member of Union146. A man who loved his friends, family, and life. He enjoyed the outdoors, helping his dad maintain the farm with grandson alongside, was fun, quick-witted, and lived life to the fullest.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Karrie Dickey of Rhome; his 2 daughters, Torrie Dickey of Rhome, and Beth Dickey of Rhome; his son, Caleb Pegues of Newark; his 2 grandsons, Bryson Grea and Tytan Rhett; his parents, Tony and Dorris Dickey of Rhome; and his sister, Jennifer Brown of Rhome; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
