CHICO -- Travis Carl Manning, 90, a retired lease operator for Petro Lewis Oil Co., died Friday, Feb. 3, 2006 in Bridgeport. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church Chico. Burial: Chico Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha in July 2004, and his grandson, Tandy Manning. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chico where he served as Deacon for over 50 years and a trustee for the Chico ISD. Memorials: Alzheimers Research Foundation, 1st State Bank of Chico. Survivors: Son, Kenneth Manning and wife, JoAnn; daughter, Linda Manning Miller and husband, J.K.; grandchildren, Travis, Penny, Cathy, Mark, and Robyn; great-grandchildren, Jason, Melissa, Meagan, Caitlyn, Madison, Travis, Mason, Bryson, and Conner; great-great-grandchildren, Drew and Joey; and sister, Juanita Roberts.
